What's  a hard core runner to do when injuries mess up your running routine? Especially when they go on for a long time, in spite of doing what you think (and what your research tells you) are all the right cures and treatments? My first reaction was frustration (still is sometimes) and betrayal was a close second. How could my body be doing this to me? It's a lengthy story of a journey I'm still on - however, all this to say - there is a fitness life, and a very physically demanding and rewarding one from the saddle of a bike. Running is still in the mix, just not the main event right now. And I'm okay with that.
