The countdown is on! Remember to register this week if you haven't yet. The 3km and 8km entry fees go up by $5.00 on race day, so save some money by registering online today ($1.50 processing fee added).

You can also register at the race kit pickup on Friday, May 1 at Vital Effect 8 am - 9:30 am. The address is Gemini Centre 3050 6808 48 Avenue.

Same option is available at race kit pickup on Saturday, May 2 at the Community Field House 2 pm - 4 pm.

See you in Jubilee Park!

Robert,

You forgot to mention the amazing gifts in the race package. Free coffee coupon from Fiona's, gift certificate for East Side Mario's, water bottle from Duggan Dental, ice cream coupons from McDonalds, reusable shopping bag and the list goes on and on. Plus after the race we have frozen yogurt, muffins, apples, oranges, bananas, fruit to go. If you're 12 and under you can even decorate and eat your own cookie medal.

On top of that are the long list of door prizes including new running shoes.

im looking at the 8km race map and have a question...

the text above the map shows "G" twice, and the text in the map shows "G" once, so do we loop the big hill once or twice ?

The big hill is only run once.  "G" is listed twice to indicate that you reach that intersection twice: once on your way to the big hill and then again on your way back.

As much as Connie ( my wife) and I would like to join in, we aren't available. Maybe next year.

Good luck to all you CRC members and fellow runners and especially a good time & congratulations to the organizers.

May the sun shine and many new runners show up on Sunday.

Buenos suerte,

Gord

I'd like to thank everyone who volunteered for this race.  It was well done and I enjoyed running in it for the first time.   I'm looking forward to next year's event though when I won't have to stop to walk...lol

As Wade said, this was such a great event-  Thank you to all who worked so hard to put it on. Those race packages were really super, too.  Love the bag and the water bottle. Grin

Thanks everyone for coming out to our race! I think it went pretty well overall.

We'll try to do even better next year.   Smiley

A BIG THANKS to all the volunteers! We could not do this without the fantastic work by our volunteers. Thank them if you see them!
